How the Height Comparison Calculator Works

Enter the name, height, and gender for each person. You can compare up to 20 people. After clicking Calculate, the calculator will:

• Convert all values into a common unit for accurate comparison
• Identify the tallest and shortest person
• Calculate the average height of all entered people
• Show the height difference between every pair of people
• Generate a visual comparison chart

Height Conversion Formula

To compare heights accurately, the calculator converts all measurements to centimeters.

Feet and inches to centimeters:

Height (cm) = ((feet × 12) + inches) × 2.54

Centimeters to total inches:

Total inches = centimeters ÷ 2.54

Height difference:

Difference = |Height A - Height B|

Average height:

Average Height = (Sum of all heights) ÷ Number of people
